Calling all animal-care professionals! Are you looking to enhance your skills and confidence in providing grief support for clients while also looking after yourself? Look no further!
In this workshop, we’ll cover two important aspects:
1οΈβ£ “Making a significant difference in their lives”:
Learn how to provide solace and support to pet-bereaved families in a vet setting. Gain insights on expressions of grief, what to say and what not to say, being present, offering information, respecting privacy and time, validation, recognising when professional support is needed, and more.
2οΈβ£ “Looking after you”:
Discover the importance of self-care. We’ll explore ways to enhance your well-being, including low-impact debriefing (Pearlman and Saakvitne) and emotional first aid. Find out how small but powerful rituals can help you manage overwhelm and build resilience in your daily life.
Join us for this opportunity to paws for support, develop resilience, connect with a supportive community, and access valuable resources for your professional and personal growth. Connect with like-minded professionals who understand your journey, and let’s build a strong support network together.
